What do you want for Christmas?
Who would you keep and let go if you had the choice? And who would you buy?
Ederson - Keep
Steffen - Keep
Carson - let go
Walker - Keep
Cancelo - Keep
Stones - Keep
Dias - Keep
Laporte - Keep
Ake - Keep
Garcia - Fook him off
Zinchenko - Sell
Mendy - Sell
Rodri - Sell
Fernandinho - 1yr extension
Gundogan - Keep
KdB - Keep
Bernardo - Keep
Mahrez - Sell
Jesus - Keep
Aguero - ??? depends on fitness/Messi
Sterling - Keep
Torres - Keep
Foden - Keep
Transfers
Messi
David Alaba
Bennacer
Aouar
Patson Daka
Haaland
I'm buying players that will start games for us and make us a better team. Others that will put pressure on the current squad.
Messi is a gimme for me. He'll improve our ability to break down tough defences with his dribbling and vision. He can be our new David Silva (kind of).
David Alaba is an easy choice. Still a world class left back and a top centre back if needed. Miles better than what we currently have.
Bennacer - He'll bring that defensive edge for the DM that Rodri fails to give us. Bennacer can do that role on his own without needing someone to hold his hand. I'd still rather have Dino over Rodri. Bennacer is still young (22) and class.
Aouar - If we want to replace David Silva (Foden isn't that man) then Aouar is still young and already a very decent player. He'll continue to learn from the likes of KdB and Messi.
Patson Daka - exceptional young striker, reminds me of Mane. Athletic, very fast, knows where the goal is and is a team player. He'd either push Sterling out of the team or make Sterling step up and give us the sort of performances we need to be a top team again.
Haaland - the best young striker out there. Still only 20yo.
Out of those 6 transfers, 4 are very young (20-22), Alaba is 28/29 and only Messi is the wrong side of 30. We'd have a very young squad and most would stay here for many years. It covers our short term needs and long terms needs as well.

Agree 100% with your squad keep/sells Ray.
Striker needed as the priority.....Haaland has to be the choice.
