Re: Team v Haaland, sorry Dortmund
i think Mendy may start ahead of Zinky after his good performance and goal against the Foxes, it would give him the chance to build some consistency with consecutive games and hopefully he will begin to show us the player we thought we bought. Having said that, Pep will probably play Zinky
I thought Sterling was poor for England over the games he played and this continues the poor form he has shown for City prior to the international break. However, Pep clearly thinks the world of him so he will probably start.

Get in Kev.
That will piss the commentators off, they’ve been desperate for Dortmund to score.

That’s embarrassing from Rodri.
If that was against us though it would’ve stood.

Wasteful in front of goal (again) and sloppy at the back, so can’t complain.
And yes, the commentators are slightly annoying!!!!

Well done Phil, but why did you try and emulate sterling with the 3 sitters you missed

Re: Team v Haaland, sorry Dortmund
The commentators were very biased, they were seething at our penalty award and then again at their disallowed goal. Can was booked after our penalty award but it wasn’t for the foul it was for his dissent when several Dortmund players confronted the ref angrily. The commentators continued to vent their frustration long afterwards that the yellow card had not been rescinded after the penalty award was overturned. They did not seem to realise why the card had been issued, the overturning of the penalty award does not nullify the dissent.

We've been top4 for almost a decade and still we have the biased commentators.

Re: Team v Haaland, sorry Dortmund
I think it’s because so many of these commentators and co-commentators are either fans or ex players of Liverpool or United, and they really don’t have the ability to see us without their rose-tinted glasses.
They cannot stand the prospect of us continuing to break records (previously held by their teams) each season, and the thought of us winning the CL is just too much for them. If we were to win it that would ruin their ‘but they’ve never win the only trophy that would make them a big club’ narrative. It’s the only stick left to beat us with.
If anyone was in any doubt as to the BBC bias they only needed to see the headlines on their football page on Wednesday morning, ‘Foden outshines Haaland - for now!’ If you ever wanted proof that they are desperate for us to lose the tie, there it is.
Even winning the first leg of a CL quarter final isn’t enough for them to praise us. Yet if their beloved Reds play appallingly in Europe and ship a few goals, they always look at how they can turn around the tie in the second leg.
Can you imagine the headline ‘Salah scores against Real - but hopefully Benzema will score at Anfield’. No, me neither.

Re: Team v Haaland, sorry Dortmund
The agenda against City is really appalling yet sports journos and other fans just say we are simply moaning. It's very telling that KDB has just become the FIRST Manchester City player EVER to win the PFA Player of The Year Award, Raheem Sterling eventually won the Football Writers Player of the Year Award for 2019. This is despite having some of the most talented and exciting players to grace the Premier League in the last 10 years, YaYa Toure, David Silva, Vincent Kompany, Fernandinho. These players were widely recognised by most pundits as being the best players in their respective positions in the Premier League for several seasons yet not a single one of them ever won one of the 2 main Player of The Year awards above.
