Cancelo on his way out

There’s obviously been some problems between Cancelo and Pep. City seem to be getting shot of him ASAP. Pep has hardly played him since the WC and when he has played he has looked half the player he was last season. 
Hope this doesn’t bite Pep on the arse. Not sure if Ake is the answer at LB although he has played well recently and even if he is, we still need back up. Gomez doesn’t seem to be up to it.

I can’t disagree with any of that.
It can’t bite Pep on the arse though, because if a player doesn’t want to be at the club then they have to be shipped out. Even if Cancelo rediscovers his form at Bayern, he won’t be missed by me. Any player that wants away is no longer of interest to me.

Agree wholeheartedly on what has been said. I also think that Gomez is not the answer. I dont think he will make it at City. My only concern is Ake has been suceptible to injuries so too Laporte, both the left sided options. I would like to see us sign a left back today but i really do not think it will happen. I will be gutted that if come the end of the season we fall short due to our depleted squad numbers.

Gomez is in his first season. If they didn't think he was good enough, they wouldn't have bought him.
Good riddance to Cancelo. He couldn't defend for toffee and we need some solidity at the back these days.

Gomez may well be in his 1st season but you can usually tell if someone has got it or not and i'm afraid he really looks like a championship at best player,. Gomez will definitely not give us solidity at the back.

Will miss Cancelo - thought he was talented when he was on his game.  Bit of a knee jerk reaction by Pep I believe.  Zinchenko doing well at Arsenal.

Depends wensdi on how much of a disruption he was on the rest of the squad too. I relly like Cancelo as a player but if he is creating disharmony within the squad as has been reported then time for him to go. I too really liked Zinky but i could see the reason for selling him as no one would have thought of cancelo leaving and enough cover in Wilson Esbrand, Ake and Laporte.
