Balotelli - Total Crap

The title says it all.

I know a lot of people like the self-proclaimed '2nd Best Player in The World' but I'm not one of them. His passing and shooting were atrocious and so was the effort he put into the game, this bloke is taking us backwards and we should cash in ASAP.

Tbh i thought he looked a bit livelier tonight, tracking back and such, but then again i was just one of them cunts who watched it on the telly.

He did track back a couple of times but only after he had lost the ball. There were long periods where he was just rooted to the spot gazing on as if he was a spectator. I've totally lost patience with him now and so had most of the people sat round me tonight.

Don't really think the 3 up front thing worked, they did seem to be getting in each others way at times, i know the jury's still out on him, but i can't see us playing this way much, so i'm still on the undecided.

Dzeko and Tevez is starting to work but we need to be able to play any 2 from 3 and Balotelli just isn't fitting in IMO.

Balo... occasional flashes of what he can do wrapped in a thick layer of lazy bastard. I'm getting increasingly annoyed by his attitude on the pitch, especially considering when he does bother, he's actually quite useful.

Thought Balo was our worst player. Don't kno what Kragzie's going on about he must have watched a different game to me. I tought it was a really good performance. Thought the defence was excellent especially Lescott. He was superb. Dzeko was v good. Shame h shuld have got va hat trick. Tevez brilliant. Silva brilliant. Yaya I thought did a greta DM job.. Thought Barry was really good. No fukin probs I thought. Shd have brought 4 subs on much earliwer. Guttede bout Kompany. He looke dok as he went off tho. GHope he isnOK

I thought last night was more like a pre-season game. Imo City were never troubled and could have stepped things up at any given time. Aris obviously posed very little/no attacking threat whatsoever, as TMG states even Lescott was made to look like a footballer for once.

Re: Balotelli, i just don't get it, games like last night are the perfect opportunity for him to prove himself, but he still ends up looking like a stroppy kid who wants to take his ball home. I honestly think Dzeko scoring twice early doors (top programme) took away any limelight he may have got, i bet he hated him deep down.lol

WE won, he played and at the end of the day thats all that matters. Similar with Jo. If we win and he plays then he's part of a winning team so why all the complaints about our players when the team wins.

Now if he'd got sent off and we threw away a 3 goal lead and gone out THEN it might be a different story.

If Balotelli had the work/team ethic of Carlos, his claim to be one of the best players in the world would be totally justified.

It's so frustrating, as if any one of us was wearing the shirt, we would be dying for the cause.

I just hope he realises, before it's too late for him in a City shirt, that he has to fucking TRY. I don't care if he feels no love for the club as long as he does his best.

If he won't, then he can FUCK OFF back to Milan and all the monkey chants that entails.

I don't think he will ever settle in England and I think we should get rid of in the summer and recoup as much money as we can. We are supposed to produce huge dossiers on prospective players, including research on their personalities and private lives. However, in his case, someone didn't do their homework. We must make sure that new players are going to fit into English life.

I read an interview with Balotelli - think it was in the M.E.N. - and he came across as a sensible individual.

He has a specific style & persona on the pitch which I think kind of jars with what we expect a player to be. The fans can help, by singing his name and making him feel wanted. Eventually, he'll grow into himself - but by then he probably won't be at City.

He's a different kind of player - yeh, lazy - but sometimes it's worth carrying that kind of player through a game particularly if he's a constant threat to the opposition and /or hitting the back of the net regularly.

Whether he smiles or not is irrelevant.

yaya nono, unfortunately that goes for most young players these day, they get given too much, too young and seem to think they are untouchable. We've had it before with the likes of Sturridge, their already legends in their own minds.

Dead right, BWTAC... Doesn't half piss me off when I see players like him sitting on the pitch after being 'fouled' throwing their arms up in the air like some naughty 4 year old having a tantrum.

In my opinion we should introduce sin bins for players like him when as soon as he has a hissy fit he gets chucked on there for 5 minutes in an attempt to cool down.

A referee's job is difficult enough these days without players like him wetting his knickers after being 'fouled'.
