Liverpool's kit deal pushes boundaries as to what is possible

Liverpool's new kit deal with Warrior looks very good in base terms. £25M a season is a great return for a club without champions league footy.

It is double the Adidas deal they previously had and they reckon they can get even more out of merchandising because the Adidas deal was worldwide on all merchandise whilst this deal is just for shirts. It looks like Liverpool will still have control over other merchandise for which they were the biggest grossing club for Adidas.

It just shows that whatever the market value, someone can go and beat it.
