Team this weekend?
Gosh, things are a bit slow at the moment folks, so let's see what you think RMs line up will be this weekend against Wanky Wanderers. Will any of the lads who played in midweek be given a rest or will he put out the strongest 11? Mine's:
...............Little Joe
Zab.....Vince.....Lescott.....Kolarov
.........NDJ...........Barry
...Balo......Yaya.........Silva
.............Aguero
I'll be in the Eastlands Bar from 1ish if anyone's up for a pint

Re: Team this weekend?
I'd expect exactly that formation Den, maybe Micah to come back in after a decent showing for England. Should be a walk in the park, but theses are the 'banana skin games'.
Do you fancy grafting instead of me and i can go for a pint in the eastlands bar??..........didn't think so, have a good un mate, got a feeling you might enjoy a victory over wanky more than most

Re: Team this weekend?
I really hope he plays Micah as i have him in my FF team Si but i've got a feeling he'll be rested (along with Clichy, Milner and AJ) for this game.
Only been to 1 home game against Wanky before, a midweek home defeat 1-0 (think Diouf scored), but Wanky were half decent then and City were struggling at the time. I'm expecting a much better outcome this time mate.....can't wait.

I don't think they've beaten us at ours since then, shaken. So if we lose, I'm going to have you banned from all future games when we play against them. Not that we're likely to for a while, the way they're going on you're more likely to see them playing against Bury
But yes, should be a comfortable victory and put the pressure back on the rags again.

Re: Team this weekend?
Have to say - that'd be my formation - but got a sneaky feeling we may see Dzeko in and Aguero on the bench.
Height at corners in both boxes.
Oh fuck it......stick with yours!!

Re: Team this weekend?
But hold on!
Check out who played in International week:
http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Team-news/2012/February/Silvas-reign-in-Spain-continues
Seems Kolorov played twice in 2 days!!
Aguero & Zaba travelled to S America and both played.
Silva scored for Spain.
Dzeko played against Brazil.
Kompany for Belgium.
Nasri for France.
Savic for Montenegro.
Our 6 last night.
At this rate it'll be the EDS squad on Saturday captained by the no-necked fucker!!

Holy shit, Wanky'll be as fresh as a daisy come Satdi..........they've not got any international players .
You might well be right about Dzeko replacing Aguero there blue.

Re: Team this weekend?
it may depend on how we view the europa league.
the europa league means that we have 7 games in 28 days.
i'd like us to go there for a 0-0 and play a strong team againtsa fresh bolton.

Re: Team this weekend?
After watching Sporting in the last round we could play the eds in that and still have a good chance of a result.
Thats a lot of travelling for some of them, maybe we will see him ring the changes and keep it fresh, we should have enough to beat bolton though, regardless who plays.

Re: Team this weekend?
RM has to take the EL seriously, so will be putting a pretty strong team out against them. As you say Si, we should have enough strength in depth to rest a few players and still have enough to beat whatever they're callled tomorrow.

Re: Team this weekend?
I think we have to make the Prem the priority, put out the strongest side, get the job done, then pull Yaya, Silva and Aguero off at half time/60mins
Now we've got Pizarro, we have another potential playmaker to step into Yaya's boots, and can I just say Nige is back to his imperious best?! he's been really good for the last few prem games, and for Holland he ran the show with Sneidjer in midfield! it's all pointing to a really strong run in for the final 1/3 of the season, I really hope Spurs put one over on Utd on sunday, they will be smarting after that spanking at Arsenal, and will want to bounce back, but like Mancini says, if we win all our games, we win the title ( we can still draw one with our goal diff as well)

Re: Team this weekend?
Well, looks like our best team ( or part of it) are sat on the bench!
we really should be 3 up by now, Mario hasn't got his shooting boots on, and we really are missing Richards at Right back.
Pizarro looks good, but I think we need to get Silva and Richards on at half time, make the points safe
