Re: Team for Swansea
Savic and Kolorov?
I know Savic is young......but after last night - Kolorov?
I really cannot see him at City after the summer. He's shite!
Thought Kolo did well at the weekend - but then again, when you hear Kolo, Vinny, Lescott and NDJ all limped out of Lisbon's stadium....it is worrying and maybe he will give Savic the nod. Clichy and Richards (rested in case of injury against Lisbon) seem OK - so i would think he will keep a back 4 as standard as he possibly can. Johnson has had his usual 4 games...and pretty much done nothing, so will be dropped IMO.
Yaya will be back, Nasri has been rested...Dzeko was awful...so i guess it's a mixture of Nasri, Milner, Barry, Silva, Yaya, Johnson and NDJ. With Aguero and Balotelli definately playing some role.

Re: Team for Swansea
Well every other team i've predicted's been miles out.
Kolo's been decent lately so that'll probably mean he'll get dropped (opposite aplies to Kolarov), but in all honesty Clichy should be at LB. Nasri and Yaya will start, and hopefully numbnuts Balo will too.
If Mich's not back, i'd put Kolo at RB, with Lezza and Savic at CB, leaving Clichy at LB.
As i said though blue, no one can predict RM's teams anymore.

I agree - it's so difficult to work out what Mancini is thinking when he picks the likes of Kolorov for most games - and he is shite, but happily picks him when no manager would, and he has the best game of his City career and sets up 2 goals! Luck, desperation, who knows.
I agree - i'm fed up of getting our team wrong, it's more to gauge what everyone else thinks: maybe we should have a 'closest to the team' competition!! I've come pretty close once or twice, but over a season, I've got nowhere near what RM is thinking!

Re: Team for Swansea
As long as Richards, YaYa, Silva and Aguero are playing then there will be some solidity and drive in the centre, Yaya will be fresh after sitting out Lisbon, I expect a big performance from him and the team to put Swansea to bed around 60mins

Re: Team for Swansea
Probably best to say what team you would play rather than try and second guess Bobby,I'd go for;
Hart
Richards kolo Lescott Clichy
De Jong Barry
Nasri yaya silva
Aguero
If kolo isn't fit,I'd rather see Milner move to right back and Richards to centre back than Savic play there.Nows not the time to have defenders having to watch out for Savic as well as concentrate on their own game
Absolute must win game tomorrow
Staying at the marriott in Swansea tonight, mrs leftfoot insisted she needs pampering on her birthday

Hart
Richards Kolo Lescot Clichy
De Jong Barry YaYa Silva
Mario Aguero
With Aguero in the roaming role he does well, dropping off Mario to either link up with YaYa and Silva or to run onto Mario's thru balls or knock downs
I was watching a youtube comp of Mario's Italian games, he seemed to celebrate more there, and was indeed a lot more flamboyant at times, obviously Mancini has got him playing more to a tighter script these days, and playing for the team, although last week he seemed to be on a one man mission to win the game against Bolton I hope he's got his shooting boots on tomorrow, and leaves the barn door at home!!
