Some clubs are resurgent when a new manager takes the reigns - Martin O'Neill for example. Maybe Chelsea will under DiMatteo - have to wait and see on that one. Other clubs just don't do any better at all - look at Wolves and QPR - neither are doing any better than the former managers. Dalglish is certainly doing better than Roy - but had lots of dosh to spend - and I still think they are average at best.

Brendan Rodgers has done a fantastic job with his team of cast offs and misfits and so has Brian MCdermott at Reading and Paul Lambert - Norwich. These guys hardly get a mention.

Some managers just don't have it, O'Neil is a great personality, so enthusiastic and passionate, coupled with a great footballing brain.
DiMatteo, well, AVB was the problem, the team could have picked themselves and played better!
Dalglish has some of what O'Neil has, but Roy was handed a poison chalice, he was fu**ed over, and chosen to be the fall guy.
Brendan Rodgers has done a great job, Swansea just ooze confidence at home, a manager to watch for the future.

Typical that Chelsea canned AVB just before our meeting with them - and after watching them last night - think we are going to have a tough time particularly with VK and Zab still likely to be out. We put the clocks forward last weekend - so City are playing at 4 pm here (instead of the usual 3pm). Probably can get home about 4:30 pm to watch em live. I hope they have the same desire to win as Chelski did last night.!!

Didn't want to mention the Owls - Shaken - cos it would jinx them - but if they pull off a win against County - then I'll start to believe again.

Not much footie this weekend though - will probably have to resort to a bit of retail therapy.

You're in a strong position now Wensdi, Dave Jones is now starting with Mike Jones out on the right, which is making a difference to the way you were playing before. This lad is a confidence player, if he's playing well, he'll create and score goals. Good luck for the rest of the season, hope you beat any teams down ther with us Rolling Eyes .

Enjoy your shopping!

funny thing about roy hodgson is he took over at Fulham acheived the impossible that season & kept them up. had a poor record at liverpool hence the sack, yet at wba has done a great job ironically taking over from the sacked Roberto di matteo, who seems to be doing ok currently at chelsea.

Funny thing that Hughes is not doing any better with the QPR team than Warnock was - but perception is everything apparently. The owners think Hughes has more credibility than the Yorkshire red neck. LOL

Have you been to Marco Island before Mr Leftfoot? It's very damp and humid being way south of Tampa - but must admit to enjoying a couple of weeks there with Mr. Wensdi I (former husband) about 20 years ago.

Ah Macy's!!!! Your wife has discovered the joys of shopping there. I shall think of you when I am there on Saturday - LOL.
