i've felt for a while that city should have started with tevez even if he would have struggled to last more than half an hour.

he gets the team playing at a higher tempo, chasing down every ball, giving defenders very little respite, creating pressure, errors and maybe chances.

if he only lasts 35 minutes, at least we have started well.

I've been saying it for weeks, months even Richards, Clichy Yaya up the field, although today Yaya wasn't on the pitch, Tevez took over the role of industrious, creative midfielder/striker, ably interchanging at will with Silva and Aguero.
Tevez, now has to start every game, he is the handgranade, dropped into the the oppositions half, he is the element of chaos and unpredictability that unlocks defences. I've been saying that for a while too....
If this side plays At Norwich, we have every chance of winning the game, now, I thought I'd not hear myself sound "confident" of finishing the season strong after Sundays woeful display! now, suddenly, my formation / selection prayers have been answered... Platt, sling yer hook, I'm taking over!

just watched a few highlights on MOTD and tevez seemed to be playing a silva type role - and he played it very well. lots of neat passes, unlocked the defence a few times.

i'd start every game with tevez and silva as the creative hub in midfield alongside nasri with aguero up front.

when yaya is back, he can slot in too playing just one holding midfielder instead of two.

we have to frighten teams with our attack again so that they start the game in fear and in a defensive mode.
