i like the line 'Besides that, he would have everything at City — Champions League, fighting for the title, great wages.

That sort of player is ideal imo, a creative player who lies a little deeper and keeps you ticking, bit like Alonso.

Don't want that Eden Hazard though, can't find a link to the video anywhere, but someone sent me a vid of him on youtube where he was given different cards with club names on them (obviously as the viewer we couldn't see the club names) and he was saying whether he'd join the club or not.

Couldn't be much more disrespectful to Lille if he tried. He just wants to join whoever is flavour of the month imo.

Ask Luka to mention all this to Gareth Bale while he's there too.

hazard, modric, bale, walker, lennon and aek will do for me. not much change from £160M though.

Prefer Hazard myself, looks suited to the pace of the Prem, imagine him on the wing, ripping defenders new ones! Yes, Please!!!

if harry leaves the spuds, and they don't get champs league footy, i can see modric and bale leaving for sure.

the others may well leave if an offer comes in from a champs league team.

and spuds won't be able to get the top players that they have been targeting. maybe they got ahead of themselves.

Hazard is the sort of player that would join us while we're flavour of the month, and then buzz off to Madrid or Barca a year or two later when they come sniffing.

grated, if we can get someone to perform like sergio has this season, and only have them for 2-3 seasons before they head off to spain, i'd take that.

what do you think we would sell him for? £50M? £60M?

i don't want to be barca or real's feeder club, but until we challenge for the champs league, that's what we could be.
