Transfer talk's in overdrive
Dani Alves rejects interest from City to stay at Barca.
City want Gareth Bale in £40m cash + player(s) deal.
City only value RVP at £20, so won't get him say the Arse.
Liverpool consider move for NDJ.

Right, i'll start at the top. Wtf would we want Alves (who incidently has now lost his place in the Barca team) when we already have Zab and Micah. He's not that good anyway, a definate non starter for me.
If the Spuds don't make the CL then imo this is a goer, flog them Ade and maybe AJ and we may well get him. Top player!
If City were serious about this, then they wouldn't value him at only £20m (we all know he's worth more). If, as i expect the Arse do get a CL place, i don't think he'll leave anyway.
Finally, NDJ going to Liverpool, you've got to admire the scousers sense of humour at times........this is never gonna happen.

I do like that line about liverpool.
tbh, i hope bale goes to spain rather than we fund the spuds next season by giving them adebayor, johnson and £20M for him.

Hope the Bale one is just tabloid gunk because I read that as £40m CASH and Players !! Certainly worth nothing like that.
If we keep Tevez and get rid of the Italian Clown we don't really need a lot. Hazard would be a better buy than Bale imho

Presumably Nige is the "hell of a player" that would improve the Liverpool team

I'm with you on this Shaken. I'd definitely swap Ade and maybe Johnson (as i'm not sure Mancini likes him full stop) for Gareth Bale....without a shadow of a doubt. The 2 players mentioned have combined wages of £250k pw. Bale may get in the region of £120k pw. Sort of makes financial sense.
Alves? No thanks.
NDJ to Liverpool? Thought Lucas was supposed to be the dogs bollocks, why would they want 2 DFM in such an attacking, free-flowing, goalscoring team?
RVP? Not at 29/30 next season would I pay what they and he think he's worth - £40m+......if Tevez stays and let's just say we did get Bale and maybe Hazard....it's bye bye Mario, as with them 2 in your team, Dzeko would be rubbung his hands...but then again he would be another bit-part player next season - as Tevez/Aguero would be the preferred strikers.

Re: Transfer talk's in overdrive
IMO RVP has had his season,he is not likely to reproduce his current form. The teams in the Prem are fully aware of his ability now.Next season he is going to have to play twice as good if he wants the same results.
Gareth Bale is good enough for any team, whether he will leave Spurs is debateable although we have some negotiating power with Adebyor.Arry seems taken with the big fella.
NDJ is a City player and we should not let him leave, especially to another Prem team, that would be silly!!

Re: Transfer talk's in overdrive
Here's the way I see it.
It all depends on whether we win the league and whether Spurs qualify for the CL.
If we win the league - regardless of CL football, the chance to join the PL champions will be hard to turn down.
We can effectively kill two birds with one stone. Mancini doesn't like Johnson or Ade - Harry does. They need money to re-build as I think Modric will go to United. Therefore, Spurs get 2 players plus £10m cash, add to that the £30m that Modric will cost United......they have £40m to replace one player effectively. If I was Harry...I'd snap Mancini's hand off if he was offered anything like that deal.
All this is speculation of course and is no doubt paper talk.....but Bale has said he is ambitious and would keep his options open. Bale, though a fucking diving cheat......is a superb potential at the right age for our team and would bring the two things we don't have......serious pace on the left and a great left foot (in more positions than Kolorov).

If we do get Bale, he'd have to cut out the diving.....
