Sergio says he is going nowhere
He told Argentina radio station Radio La Red: "I will continue
with City, I want to play in the Champions [League] here. Today City lives
up to anyone, so I do not want to go. I decide where to go. If I say I stay,
I stay."
obviously diego is still trying to get him to go to real madrid. the old fucker should just belt up

Re: Sergio says he is going nowhere
He has said it few times, he is a very decent chap, although he doesn't owe us anything but he said we put faith in him when other clubs didn't and he would like to repay that faith... I remember the Real and Barcelona were after David Villas, Higuines, Eto etc.
Good lad, with a clever head on him. No chance he will listen to a Manager that managed to ruin the best Argentine side!

No one could afford him. We would be looking at anything up to 100 million + wages. With FFP just round the corner our Sergio is thankfully staying put

Re: Sergio says he is going nowhere
There's no way we'd sell, even for £100million, he's more than just a striker for City, he's a symbol of the new City, of fairplay and being decent on and off the pitch, like Vinny, plus he's already got the girls swooning after him!
He's also in a Pepsi ad with Messi, Drogba et al... a sure sign that he's going to give City massive media coverage overseas, developing our brand/name etc, sounds cynical, but that's football today!
I think he's been our best signing for a long, long time, the way he took to the Prem in his 1st season is amazing, he could be top scorer next year...

Re: Sergio says he is going nowhere
We really did get lucky managing to land him, that's for sure! Worth every single penny we've paid him just for that last second of the season. And the look on his face, the sheer jubilation at what he did and what it meant to everyone in the ground (with the exception of QPR, but even they seemed pretty chirpy about it) just summed him up completely.
I hope this is true and not just paper talk. I'd hate for him to leave just as things are getting going. One for the Legends list, for sure.
