Rio is overlooked for 'footballing reasons'. we need to know and understand what those footballing reasons are.

Martin Kelly and Phil Jones get in ahead of Rio, so what the hell are these footballing reasons and why will they change in the future?

Are they to do with his ability, his fitness or John Terry?

Does Roy think Terry will get sent down opening the door for Rio again?

Apparently - according to Woy, it's so somebody of the calibre of Rio isn't left on the bench throughout the tournament!!

He was never in his original 23 so if he brought him in when Cahill got injured....it'd be to cover for Terry and Lescott.......you just can't make up this bullshit!!

To be honest we dont really need Rio. We have Lescott, Terry, Jagielka & Jones who can all play CB. The main problem I have is why waste 1 of the 23 man squad on Kelly. Then again Downing, Green, Henderson are equally pointless
