Walcott or Sinclair ?
Swansea have turned down our offer of £6.2m for Sinclair
Walcott is refusing to sign his contract offer for £75,000 pw, City are reportedly sniffing round Walcott as a possible alternative to Sinclair......
......???????
WHY??????
I know on his day, when he has managed to get his boots on the right feet, he can produce the goods, and he has improved of late, but,,, BUT! would he flourish under Mancini, and produce it regularly? would being in the presence of Nasri, Clichy, his old pals from the Arse help him, as with fellow England team mates , Hart, Lescott, Milner, Richards, Barry ? Would playing with Yaya, Aguero, Tevez, Silva, rub off on him....? Does Mancini know something we don't? or will he be another AJ? ( well done to AJ for last night by the way)
As for Sinclair.....? why can't we bung them another couple of million to complete the deal?
I know we're on the outside looking in through a steamed up window on the proceedings, and we aren't privy to the full facts, but... I'm confused!

Re: Walcott or Sinclair ?
If we'd have wanted someone who runs without the ball, constantly gets it stuck under his feet, runs it out for a goalkick and runs into blind alleys.......we should have kept Sweep .
I reckon Swansea are just trying it on with us over Sinclair, i hope we stick to our guns and tell um to f**k off. I'm sure the players agent (and Sinclair himself) are thouroughly naffed off with Swansea over this, as the deal seemed to be done and dusted. Don't pay them any more i say!!!!

Re: Walcott or Sinclair ?
I guess when you look at it from Swansea's point of view you can see what they are trying to do.....
1) We are City and should expect an increase of 20% on each players value...unfortunately that's just the way it is.
2) Downing - £20mil / Carroll - £35mil / Allen £15mil / Fletcher £12mil / Jarvis £12mil
The inflation of British players recently is ridiculous, and you can understand a newly promoted team wanting to reap some of the benefits.
But to answer the question.....I wouldn't buy either....I'd go for Dyer from Swansea or Larsson.

Seems like we keep missing out. Dembele to Spurs, Moses to Chelsea, Barton to Leeds (just kidding). Nastasic - never heard of him - we never seem to get any PL players.
