didn't see it! I put my son to bed at 7, fell asleep, woke up just as the 3rd goal went in... glad I used the time wisely!!!!
I haven't read any papers or the match report, but all I'll say is, no doubt playing Lescott and 3 at the back wasn't the best idea! I would've played Nasty or Micah with VK and had Zabba or micah on the right, far stronger, but WTF do I know, Mancini hasn't a clue at CL level, and if he doesn't shape up, well, we all know what'll happen

It was simply a poor performance - poor from the stance of RM's selection/tactics and a lacklustre performance by the team. How anyone can say that we are paying the price because we let Nige go for a pittance is beyond laughable. Nige was hardly used at all last season - and he might have been a breath of fresh air in the locker room but I'm sure Micah, Joe etc., are as well.

tututu t wensdi dejong was exactly what we need in these games... clever player that isnt slow like barry and breaks up play ... none of our players can read tge game like he did... he wasnt just a clown in the dressing room...

That's not my point Jesus - point is he's not played much (towards end of last season) and we still did much better than we have recently. We suffered much more when Yaya was at ACON and we had injuries and red cards. Jus sayin.........

I do not pretend to know what happened between Bobby and Nigel,but letting DeJong go was for me the worse piece of business we have suffered.Alright he was not played much at the end of last season,but he was the one who had the ball and gave it to Mario who gave it to Sergio that won us the title.He has not been replaced and we are feeling it.After Wednesday,Bobby has a lot to answer for,we are not going to qualify for ther next rounds of the CL !!

But Kolarov was the one who gave it to Aguero who gave it to Dzeko - who scored for us on Saturday. Nige was not the catalyst of the team - we still played well without him. The whole point is - if Tevez leaves in January - we'll all be saying that's the reason we didn't win. I understand perfectly that Nige should not have been sold - but shit he wasn't the reason we won the Prem.

Agree and I didnt say he was the reason we won the league ... I said in this type of European game we needed DeJong badly because we don't have a DM that is good enough...

I think it was more to do with his agent (NDJ), only Tevez to go and we wont have any left of Kia J's men... But last night was a CL nightmare something Mancini hasn't got the hang of no matter what team.
Dzeko again missed chances and his control was terrible, why not when he comes on from the bench??
We was crying out for cover on the left hand side, and starting with an unbalanced line up. Perhaps he underestimated our opponents?
God knows what the answer is but these players shouldn't turn into a team hardly reconisable from last season??
