Who would you like to finish 4th?
If you don't care, look away now.
Let's say Chelsea finish 3rd, who would you like to finish 4th?
For me, not Arsenal as they deserve to do without the champs league money.
Not Spurs as that will mean Bale leaves
Not Everton because I don't like them
Not Liverpool because I don't like them
Maybe Swansea or WBA could put a good run together and squeeze in...

lol! Swansea or WBA??? I think you meant - not Spurs as Bale WOULDN'T leave.
I'd like Everton to finish in 4th behind Chelsea, United then City!
Bale will be on the market, as would Suarez - maybe.

Re: Who would you like to finish 4th?
I'd personally like us to have this formation for next season - IF, we could sign the players.......as I think Cavanni will be on the market for nearer £50m, Falcao the same, Neymar going nowhere until 2014.

Light on the right, I know....but Tevez tracks back really well. Suarez and Bale are both tenacious in tracking back and helping out, but score for fun. I'd like Tevez to stay...Yaya back in a more 'commandeering' role, Zab can bomb forward, so can Clichy with Bale covering if needed.....we just seem to need more goals...and Suarez and Bale will definitely provide that. I know Suarez isn't the most popular fella...but he'd be in my PL starting 11 every week.

If we can't get Falcao, Cavanni or Neymar what about a punt for Lewandowski?

I want United to finish fourth
But being more serious, if Chelsea came in third, I'd want Everton there. As much as I dislike them for being our bogey team, frankly it'd be nice to have another "the other team" in there.

I think they need to have a new manager up their sleeve or we'll by lucky to be playing in the Thursday night cup next year

Re: Who would you like to finish 4th?
That was worse than the Arsenal game last year when we fell to pieces!
3 Stooges? more like the bloody 11 Stooges!!!! What a shambles! but you could see it coming, we've been fumbling thru games on reputation and the odd spark of brilliance, we deserved to get beat, now, does the team sort it's Shit out, does Mancini get a grip and start playing the best team available at that moment, and I say team, not collection of individuals.. so for me Nasri can go and sit down, let Milner and Sinclair get a game, Barry can have a break too, let's get some width, some speed and desire back into the game.
I think we can safely write off the title, unless UTD come down with Legionnaires while away at Madrid and half the squad go in to hospital, and we make a Lazarus like return to form like last year... both highly unlikely.
ONH was having a go for throwing in the towel early, obviously, he's not been watching City as clearly as we had ( surprising in itself ) see the slow, desperate spiral down into damp squibness has been painful since the Arsenal game...
Still, for me jury's out until after the next game, does Mancini get his head out of the sand and smell the espresso? or will he keep in a state of stubborn denial?
As I said, I'm resigned to UTD winning the title by a canter now, so, all I can hope for is 2nd now, regroup, get a team and try again next year. Caio Roberto

Re: Who would you like to finish 4th?
If I'm honest, Bobby's career hinges on the next two games. If we lose to Leeds then we miss out on a trophy altogether, which would hurt him a fair bit.
But if we then lose to Chelsea, we will most likely be 15 points behind United and without a hope in hell of catching them, but worse, we'd only be one point ahead of Chelsea and, on current form, I don't think we'd last more than a couple of weeks before we are picked off by them. Worse, if that happens, Spurs may well overtake us in the same weekend and we'd be fourth.
If we drop two places in one sitting, Arsenal might take the opportunity to gain places while we struggle and we might end up without a CL place at all.
Granted, this is all worst case scenario stuff, but I can see it happening. We need to beat Leeds to get a bit of feel-good back into the side and then we need to beat Chelsea and put some breathing space back between us and them. If we do that, we should (hopefully) finish second and we might be in with a shout at the FA Cup. If we don't beat Leeds then I can see Chelsea winning and all that pessimistic stuff I mentioned above could well happen.

Re: Who would you like to finish 4th?
Listening to Keys and Gray on talk shite while driving this morning and they were reviewing which teams were better than last season, which were about the same and which were worse. Obviously we were in the latter, no arguement. However, Gray was going on about the old top 4 and how they were all struggling except the rags but that even they were not as good as previous Fergie teams. He then said that we had to remember that city were now in the mix in terms of title chasers and Mr Keys replied yes but that was just short term.

Re: Who would you like to finish 4th?
He's going off the experience gained from watching Blackburn do it once, Arsenal's threat dissipate and Chelsea summarily fail every season after they win it. You can't really blame him for saying that about us, too.
He's still a gonad, though.
