Players that would work their balls off for you
Shane Long - would run all day long and would want to prove himself at the top level. Only 12 months left on his contract come the summer.

I can almost hear the impending cries of, "Not good enough!"
But you're right, Dawg, he would run all day long for us. As would plenty of other players, they'd all kill to play for a league champion with a Champs League spot. And not only would they be cheaper, they'd be happier with less money as well.
Right now, we need fewer prima donnas sulking over their champagne and caviar and a few more Pablo Zabaletas. Long would be such a player. Question is, would Bob play him in the right place. Or at all?

Danny Graham, great finisher and would work hard.
We have players like that in our squad. Milner, Zaba, Sinclair, Vince, Silva (most of the time), Aguero, Tevez, Richards (when fit), Hart....but for he decides not to play Sinclair and bring on a fat slow has-been full back.

Someone once said you can't have a team full of stars, you need 4 or big big players and the rest have to be solid.
If any of us were offered Zabba (as he was 4-5 years ago) how many would say...not good enough?
