Interesting stuff. I do like Bobby but he picks players that won't put a shift in when we need them to (Nasri), he makes daft substitutions just because he got lucky with one or two in the past (Maicon on when we are losing 3-1) and he allowed us to buy players that weakened our squad last summer.

Not sure he "allowed us to buy players that weakened our squad" dawg. I don't think he had anything to do with signing those players which I believe is why he refuses to give them a decent chance to play.

I have to agree with Mancini in ths interview, for the most part, our players have sat on their laurels, not had any top draw players come in to stir the mix and create competition.
I can't blame him foe sodding off to Italy without speaking to his players, but maybe he should have, and read the riot act to them.
I understand him publicly criticising players, he wants to motivate them, Nasri has flickered into life only for a few games, when he should be up there with Silva. If the team now respond like they did last season, I'll be happy, we won't win the title, but if we at least close on United and keep them honest, then I'll be satisfied, then we can take that form into the FA Cup, and hopefully finish with a trophy....

I wholly agree with Bobby in this interview. It's given me added respect for him

Although it does beg the question if you don't like players that only give 50% then why pick them again eg Nasri, Dzeko, Kolarov, Balotelli to name a few culprits

It does appear that the 'summer' signings that we've all slagged off, pisses Bobby off as much as it does us so hopefully lessons have been learnt !

Given our injury list this season, I don't think he's had much choice but to play people who we don't rate. He's had to play Kolarov to cover the LB position, Nasri to be an attacking midfielder while we were missing Yaya and Dzeko to shut up his whining about being a perpetual substitute. Balotelli was a different situation and one I can't really justify.
