The Mancini/Nasri problem
Nasri an be very good when City are playing well, usually against the better teams.
But he doesn't earn the right to play against the better teams by playing lazy shit against the weaker teams.
But that is also the fault of the manager who should be able to see that and select Milner in preference to Nasri for the grafting games and Nasri fir the better teams.
Anyway, let's hope Nasri leaves this summer.

Re: The Mancini/Nasri problem
There was a lot of chat about City on the Sunday Supplement this morning following a story in the Sunday Mirror that there was a dressing room revolt against Mancini after his criticism of Joe Hart and Samir Nasri earlier in the week.
They all agreed that Nasri was deserving of the criticism and that the 50% work rate alleged by Mancini was being generous, one even suggested the 0 and the 5 were the wrong way around.
Shaun Custis of the Sun alleged that Mancini has been sniping at Joe Hart ever since Joe criticised the team in the media following the defeat at Real Madrid where we lost 2 very late goals.

Re: The Mancini/Nasri problem
The Guardian interview with Mancini was very good. He does criticise players openly, which can annoy them (and us), but, in general, they are deserving of the criticism. Especially Nasri.

Re: The Mancini/Nasri problem
WTF can't you criticise a player in public? They play in public, get paid by the public.....so if you don't give 100%...expect to be bollocked in public. I'm all for calling out players who are not pulling their weight...especially when they get paid £150k per week! Jesus.....are we really a Nanny state where footballers and fans are now saying "keep it behind closed doors?"???

Nasri is a luxury player that we could do without. His effort is piss poor and the only way he should get a game is if Silva is injured or as a sub for Silva
Get rid of him & Dzeko & buy Bale !!!

Re: The Mancini/Nasri problem
Well, on today's performance, I think Mancini has been vindicated, Joe made a stunning save, and the boys were dominant, Rodwell looks like a good acquisition now that he's listened to Mancini and sorted out his hamstring issues.
If thisnisnthe start of another long run of wins, with RVP possibly injured, it will only take a few defeated, draws and for us to get the difference down to single figures for a case of Deja VU to set in at OT, long shot, but bigger leads have been thrown away in the past.
