Indeed. At least he can take heart he lasted longer than Henning Berg in the job. I reckon, with more than 70 days of the season left, there's every chance they'll bin off the replacement as well.
It's almost as farcical as our own situation in the 96/97 season. Alan Ball quits after 3 games in charge, Asa Hartford covered the next 8 games until we got Steve Coppell in - who lasted for 6 games and 33 days before he quit. Then we had Phil Neal take over for 10 games before we got Frank Clark in. Five managers (admittedly two were caretakers) inside half a season. Although we never actually sacked anyone in that time, to be fair.
