Will Rooney stay at Utd.?
There is strong talk of Rooney being 'persuaded' to stay at Man U. My arse. It appears he was offered to Barca and Madrid and both said no. Who else would take him anyway? Probably only Chelsea and I really don't think they need him.
SO, Rooney will be 'persuaded to stay'

Re: Will Rooney stay at Utd.?
Could you just imagine Rooney in a foreign country.....he struggles to cope with the English language for starters.
I'd heard he was offered to Bayern too.....don't make me laugh.
Aresnal were supposed to be interested, but they won't pay him half of his current wages.
He's all bullshit Rooney, he ain't goin anywhere.

Re: Will Rooney stay at Utd.?
I find it hilarious that his last move to engineer a bigger wage is biting him on the arse, really hard! And that's payback for everyone who paid to go to South Africa and watch him being a complete tool.
He can't go to Germany because their wage cap is lower than his current earnings. If he did cut his money, he'd want to go to Bayern, who already have three better strikers than him.
Nobody in Italy or Spain wants him and the only teams who can afford him here are us and Chelsea. Chelsea already have better players who'll keep him out of the fray. We could use a decent striker, but we wouldn't touch him in a quadzillion years.
In the rest of Europe, the only teams with the brass to afford him are PSG and Anzhi Makhachkala. Or he might bugger off to Shanghai Shenhua. All possible, but would he get more game time with any of those?
But with a bit of luck, the rags will be stuck with his million a month wages

Re: Will Rooney stay at Utd.?
What baffles me is that he is a terrific player, a tosser of the highest order, but a class player. Rather than sulking, why not just find his form back and battle for his place. RVP isn't going to be there forever, he's 31 now. Rooney is 27. And like you said, where is he going to go? Not here I hope, but with what has happened recently, it wouldn't surprise me!
He has Welbeck in front of him currently which tells you something. Zabaleta has scored more than Welbeck in less games.

And they bought Zaha as well, another striker.
It's funny how the rags laughed at us for buying five strikers and here they are, with RVP, Rooney, Hernandez, Welbeck and Zaha... oops!

Re: Will Rooney stay at Utd.?
When RVP goes, Rooney may be 30-31 himself and Utd will already have got themselves other strikers in that are better than him. This is his last chance of a long contract on big money and I don't think he'll get it.
His only real option is to work his balls off at Utd. for the rest of his contract and become so much better than he has been recently and make himself indispensable to them or an attractive option to another club
