So the rumour has it..........

Pellegrini is like a father to Isco. Therefore, you would imagine that the rumour that Isco will be City's first signings if Pellegrini, as expected, becomes City's manager tomorrow....looks like odds on?

Well, rumours in Spain are that City don't want him and Real are about to table a bid for one of the hottest properties in football!

Therefore, if true, that can mean one of two things:

The rumour is bollocks......

Pellegrini won't be City's manager.....

Pellegrini has already stated that whichever club he goes to, Isco will join him.

There is no way I can see City not backing Pellegrini if they want him as the next manager.....so this is a little odd.

Otherwise...the other rumour of Roberto Martinez being in the post by next weekend, becomes even stronger.

Why would City NOT want Isco?

I haven't heard the ISCO rumour. He wants to play footy not sit on the bench. Would he be in the starting 11 for RM? Would he be in ours? I think there is more chance of him starting games for us (especially if Nasri leaves and PG is our manager).

He'd be up against Di Maria, Ozil, Callejon, Modric, Alonso etc. for s starter spot for RM and only Nasri and Silva for us.

I like the idea of Martinez as our number 2. Played the game here, managed in the prem for a few years. He speaks Spanish and would be a good bridge for PG. And in 2-3 yrs time, he may just well be our manager.

Don't think Martinez is quite there yet for us. However - in the long term I think he is perfect for us, number 2 possibly. Maybe it's better he carries on getting some 1st coach management experience.

Everton then to us in 2-3years?

Pellegrini's coming to us......end of.

Agreed Jordan, why wouldn't City want Isco. When Pellegrini comes, I quite sure if he says he wants Isco, then we'll do all we can to sign him.
