Good article here about Pellagrini's tactics, why he was successful at Villareal and Malaga, and not so at Madrid ( forced to shoe horn stars he didn't choose into a system)

Didn't Bobby play games with 2DMs, 2 creative players and 2 strikers?

He didn't do badly at RM, his season there they scored more points than when they won the league under Special One.  He just came across the best ever league team in history.
