Report in the Guardian that Ozil was offered to Utd and City 3 weeks ago.

Would you have taken him?

I certainly would and would have tried to offload Nasri to PSG for £20M+ to balance the books.

We have just signed Negredo and Jovetic.....why would you want to spend another £40m+ on yet another striker Dawg. It'd be a definite no-no for me.

Now if Dzeko was to be sold off, that'd be a different story Laughing

In that case Dawg, i'd have signed him instead of Fernandinho, leavin Yaya and Garcia to hold hands with Vinny and Co at the back while he bombs forward.

I think he was only offered around in August so we had already been mugged for Fernandinho.

Personally, I'd have got him and let maybe Nasri and Garcia leave. Garcia will do nowt for us and should have Rodders, Yaya and Fernandinho ahead of him (even Barry when he was with us).

Imagine a midfield with Silva, Ozil, Yaya and Jovetic!!!

Yaya has been woeful this season for me. Even worse than Fernandinho. I hope Rodwell or Milner get starts soon. 

Why has Yaya only just decided to become a free-kick specialist at 31?

I think it is more wage related, we have trimmed our wage bill massively this summer with renegotiating some contracts and letting other big ones go (toure and tevez).
