Chappy is an absolute legend.....every workplace should have a Chappy - the players seem to love him.
Oh...and as for football team websites - mcfc tv makes others look amateurish.

just listened to the life story a real genuine guy. Through all the comedy he has a lot of common sense between the ears.

Just watched it now Oz......it sounds to me like he will retire after this season! God, I hope not for the sake of the players....they''ll be gutted.

Well, I could have a go...  Looking over the Admin panel, Vince did a lot of tinkering and I'm not entirely sure what I can and can't change.  I'll see what I can do.

Okay, so I've managed to lift the file which has the banner on it, now it's just a case of seeing what can be done.  I may be able to make it longer to squeeze Chappy in.  It's either that or a vote on which other legend makes room for him.

I take into account the your reasons for keepin Dickov leo, but if we're going off last minute goal heroics, should he not be replaced by Aguero then?.....now that is a moment we'll all never forget.

I'd get a picture of Serge on my post....if I knew how to do it.

Tbh, the more I think about this, the more I don't think any player should be replaced by a non-player....there are plenty of people throughout the years at City, that for one reason or another deserve to have their faces up at the top.

Very true, maybe that colours my view a bit too much.

I totally agree.  We have the Goat up there, who I suspect is there more because he gave us a reason to cheer in a really dark period of our history, but he scored more by luck than skill AND he's keeping out Neil Young for some reason!  And what about Lakey, he should be there too, surely?  And we have no goalkeepers when we've got Trautmann, Swift and Corrigan to pick from!

Okay, it's a bit of a hatchet job and doesn't stand close scrutiny, but I've stretched the banner out to include Big Joe and Youngy, and stuck Chappy on the end.  I should be able to stretch it out a bit more if needs be.

That looks fine Leo but I would vote to replace Silva with Sergio just for that goal.   Silva can do up there as and when he does similar.  Just my opinion though.

When you say post do you mean post, or avatar?

Right click on the picture, save it to your desktop. Go to your profile, upload/browse file and then click on the picture you want and transfer it....if not, and I have misread your intentions....here's a few memories!!

You can add pictures directly from websites as well.  Right-click on the image and select "Copy Image URL", then use the "Insert Image" option here and paste it into the URL box.

I meant post blue....just as you and leo have done above. Think I've sussed how to upload a picture to use as an avatar.

No probs, Shaken.  I thought it was a bit odd that Vince hadn't included any goalies in the banner, considering we've had four who could make a cast-iron case to be there.

Well that's what I thought - as how the bloody hell did you get your avatar up there!

Just right click any images on Google, copy image, then past it into your post.

I only have a blank banner at the top of the page, i have never seen any pictures there. Above the 2 buttons for 'New Topic' or 'Post Reply' it has the thread title, in this case "Chappy's Top Ten Best Bits" and then above that is a blank blue strip, am i missing something?

Ahh i see the problem. I am on my work computer and the pictures are missing for some reason but i remember the city legends pictures now, they appear when i use my lap top so they must be blocked for some reason by the filtering software in here.

Are you at work, MCM?  If so, they may be blocking the website servimg.com.  I'll put the link to the banner here, click it and see what happens:

Yeah the link opened a blank page Leo its obviously the council's filters blocking it.

It must be down as a dodgy site, image hosts usually are.
