Clattenburg...biased or a cheat?

Watched the Utd vs Liverpool game tonight. Suarez, Sturridge and Gerrard make Liverpool pretty dangerous going forwards but Suarez has to be the focus and that holds Liverpool back as well. He's too greedy and wastes more than he creates.

Clattenburg made some pretty bad calls in my book. Kagawa blocks a Liverpool break by using his leg across the midriff of the opponent sprinting clear. Surely a booking, but no.  Suarez got clattered from behind. Surely a booking, but no again. Giggs clearly kicks the ball away after the whistle blows for an obvious handball. Maybe don't give a yellow for the handball but kicking the ball away is a yellow card offence. Since he's already on a yellow, he'd be off. I think he committed at least 3 yellow card offences yet stayed on the pitch.

Even the corner that led to Utd's goal looked like a push on Kolo Toure (who had a decent game) though I didn't see a single replay of that incident.

Who cares, you know you're gonna get iffy decisions at OT.

However, Giggs should have been 2nd yellow carded for kicking the ball away.....and he knew it.

Even the commentators said something about him getting away with it. I fucking hate this inconsistency or double standards. If that had been Mario or Suarez etc. they'd have been off.

Exactly Saint "Shagger" Giggs will never be sent off at Old Trafford it's in the league charter.

I don't like Clattenburg at all, he is one of the refs who thinks they are as much a superstar as the players.

If Liverpool were as clinical last night as they have been all season, it wouldn't have mattered. Thought they were poor in front of goal and ultimately paid the price.

It's not great when you have good chances falling Henderson or Kolo in the box. That's probably the first time I've seen them this season and they looked half decent.

Never mind, lads.  At least we won't have to worry about coming up against Liverpool in this competition now.  And I note the rags have another home game, this time against Norwich, who might just beat them as long as they don't get another homer ref like Webb the Red or Clottenberk.

I was actually hoping for a draw against them at the swamp! Embarrass them in front of their own tourists.

I like how they were all dishing it out about our attendance on Tuesday, yet the Cap One official site STILL doesn't show the attendance for their game.  I'm willing to bet the stadium was empty on the side where the cameras are.
