Defence is really really bad again. So many times balls over the top have caused us problems. It's happened all season and not sorted out yet.

What the hell does he see in Garcia? Absolutely baffling. Poor, poor poor player. Especially in defence!

Garcia, I'll say it until I'm blue in the face, is not good enough.
Total poof when it comes to a challenge, and I never use the word 'poof' lightly.

Surely the 2 other CB's we have available are better than Garcia, his reading of the game from that position is woeful even Micah would be better than Garcia.

Garcia's 'challenge' with Honda would have had Mike Doyle spinning in his grave!

Is it me or do the 2 ex blues, Quinn and Smichael seem grudging with any praise or loath to say anything encouraging or positive about City? I'm not just talking about tonight, it has struck me before in games they have pundited on involving City.

Tommy Booth or Mike Doyle and several other previous holders of that position would have won every one of those high punts forward. What defenders do we have on the bench? i missed the start.

Old Red Nose will always be just that, a red, but I always feel Big Niall is still a blue. Never felt he's been biased against us.

Yeah, they did seem to be very reluctant with their praise.  But the one I wanted to go into the TV and punch in the face was Martin Tyler.  Every two minutes, going on about our defensive frailty.  What about the fact that CSKA only had two players who could break through?  What about that dazzling display from Silva on a shit pitch?  How about some praise for Aguero for getting us back level so quickly and then sticking his noggin into danger to bag the winner?  Still, at least he didn't say anything about Little Joe.

Anyway, give it a few years and when we eventually become the darlings of UEFA they'll be kissing our arses instead.

I know what you mean Leo, Tyler has that effect on me every time he commentates on our games. He seems to jump on every negative but hardly ever compliments good play or anything positive about the team. He seems to focus on every cliche that has been said about us lately like our poor record in qualifying from the group stage or how we struggle without VK etc etc. These are much mentioned criticisms but are totally irrelevant to the game in point but he just keeps droning them out nauseously ad finitum.
The second CSKA scored his voice increased excitedly as he proclaimed our CL ambitions in tatters again. Twat!!

Yeah.  And I had to laugh mightily when Serge scored the equaliser almost immediately after he'd finished saying it
