Sergio's Injury

Rumours throughout the papers is that he could be out for 6 weeks!

Do we still play 4-4-2...with Dzeko and Negredo? Not for me.

Would rather we switched to a 4-4-1-1 with Silva behind Negredo...Dzeko for me, after his recent efforts (excuse the pun)....has had his chance and his attitude hasn't been right.

Would've been great to see Tevez as a replacement with Negredo...banged in another hat-trick for Juve yesterday.

Fingers crossed Sergio will be back for Liverpool.

If Sergio is out, maybe we play with one up front against Fulham and give Jovetic (if not injured) a run out for the last 15 or 20 minutes. If he does the business, maybe a start against Liverpool.

Yeah, we need to see what Jovetic has to offer...played OK against Wigan in the Cup...but we don't really know, that's the problem.

Imagine if he turns out to be half as good as Negredo?

Didn't think a calf injury was that serious, maybe it is. I'd personally much prefer Dzeko to be left in the changing room, never mind start with him for the next 6 or so games.....i actually feel sick thinking about it.

Agree, Silva in behind Negredo for me too. We have enough fire power from the midfield ranks to cope without resorting to Dzeko.

Maybe play Jovetic against Leicester, that'll be a good start.

Yeah, maybe you're right. so maybe another 60 mins to get him up to full fitness.

Maybe Guidetti on the bench against Leicester and give him a run out at some point? He may be a better option for the first team than Dzeko if he gets a chance to shine.

Easy decision for me....Serge out, Negredo in.

He's right that the cup is important. It's the least important of the trophies we are going for and we should be able to win with a 2nd string team.
