Abu Dhabi jolly in Jan???
I can't believe we are going to send a team to Abu Dhabi mid Jan to open a new stadium.
If we are going to do this, then it should strictly be kids and injured players only. Micah, Sergio and Jovetic can do some PR whilst we can let the kids play and maybe give the fringe players a run out (like Rodwell and Guidetti).
Not a good idea if this happens, even if the club do bank some money for doing it.

Really? What a stupid idea.
And for once it looks like the money really is going to ruin the football

Can't see for one minute, City fielding any of are top 14 players...maybe a few of the stars will go to show their face....but if we do, it'd be absolute madness.

The owners want us to win the PL so i cannot really see them sabotaging that by risking key players at that time. I think it will be fringe players, those recovering from injury maybe too and some kids.

I'll bet they're glad Serge is injured, then! Now that would be a massive crowd puller: "And here he is, the legend himself, Sergio "Kun" Agueroooooo!" They'd be lining the streets to see him there. And he may as well go, seeing as he's not fit to play yet.
Even when he's not playing, he's still capable of doing us good. £38 million was a bloody bargain!

This is pure madness and MP isn't too chuffed about it either.....despite saying it's not a problem to the press. As all have said, hopefully we'll send a couple of injured/returning stars plus fringe players and kids.
To send the likes of Silva, Yaya and Vinny, etc, etc could backfire bigtime and I'm pretty sure the bigwigs don't want to hinder the title/CL push, so these boys will be left at home.
