Fernandinho - good article by Alan Smith

I'm gradually changing my tune.....I said early on, I'm not sure how he can be worth £30m.
Maybe he still isn't worth that....but he's been brilliant over the past month or two.
£30m could seem like a steal if we win the league and a cup or 2.

Same here, he seemed like a waste of money after the first few games he played but now he is looking the business.

It took Yaya about half a season to get to grips with the Premier League. Perhaps we were all (especially myself) slightly too rash, harsh and naive to judge Fernandinho straight away.

I don't think we should beat ourselves up here. I thought £30m was too much as well, as would any rational person. However, it seems the valuation wasn't too far off the mark after all. Personally, as sad as it is to say this, I think we've found a replacement for GazBaz.
Compared to the £27m the rags forked out for Fellaini, he's looking a bit of a steal!
