Lezza can leave in Jan

Talk of several clubs wanting to loan him and he's only got 6 months left on his contract.

Personally, I'd only sell him rather than a loan deal and preferably, not to a club in the premier league.

'Sizeable bids' is the talk, otherwise, Spurs or Newcastle on loan... Clever thinking!

We won't get anything more than £3m for him....be better to loan him to a club that may take points off our rivals.

So, here's us believing MP when he says "no transfers"!!!

TBF....the player has said he wants to stay. Why would we sell/loan him and then have to get cover? He is the cover! So we'd be getting rid of one player who will play his part in cup competitions (FA), will no doubt get more opportunities in the PL, who knows what can happen, maybe even the Nou Camp against Barca in the CL...a possible PL winners medal, another cup medal.....all to look at finding somebody as 4th choice cover???
I can't see Lescott being picked for the WC squad anyway... so I'm not sure it'd be the right thing for him either.

I agree bluey, his WC has gone. If everyone was fit, then maybe Lezza could go. Pocket a few £M and save a few £M on his wages over the next 6 months. But everyone isn't fit (Crystali and DM for starters) leaving us with Nasty and Botty

All in all... I'd prefer Lezza than Boyata and DeM at CB anyway!

Tbh, i can't see him going, but the lure of "regular" football might just persuade him out of the door.

MP will more than likely get rid of him at the end of the season and bring in fresh blood, so any sizeable bid will be accepted....if not, we'll just run his contract down and let him leave for nowt.

Think he should stay 
If he goes to the Spuds he'll be on the bench again as they have Vertonghen, Dawson Kaboul & some other foreign bloke I cant remember the name of
If he goes to the Toon he'll get more game time but will be in a mid table team with little chance of success
Whatever happens he deffo wont be in Woys plans

Interesting they make him captain today for someone that can leave?
