Liverpool Lose 50m
So the dippers lost more money than us last year

I wonder if the Premiership Mafia will put a complaint into Uefa like they did for us?

Re: Liverpool Lose 50m
It's similar to a lot of clubs who will utilise exemptions and non allowable expenditure such as on youth and infrastructure.
The interesting thing I've read is that FSG paid off their £45M loans which were at a high interest rate and replaced them with an interest free loan. Interest free loans shouldn't be allowed as they are non commercial. The market certainly wouldn't offer Liverpool that. They'd probably have to pay at least 5% which would be at least £2.5M interest per annum.
Basically, their owners have pumped money into the club by a roundabout way.
They also lost over £40M the previous season, so they aren't going the right way. They have bought their 'success' of probably qualifying for the CL (if not the title).

But UEFA won't investigate because Liverpool is one of the darling clubs of the G14. They'll wave their own personal CL trophy and it'll all be good. In fact, they'll probably wave them through at our expense...

What? The trophy from their glorious past, years ago? Oh, that one...similar to United's of 99?
Oh well, guess we'll just wave our C1C at them......and the PL.....and FA Cup......and see what they say.....

No no no! United don't own a CL trophy cos they've only won it twice. Liverpool won it five times and got to keep the one from 2005.blueboy wrote:What? The trophy from their glorious past, years ago? Oh, that one...similar to United's of 99?
Apparently UEFA don't do this any more.
