A bit worrying that he still hasn't come to terms with being dropped...he's won his place back and is now back in form...

Can't see this happening but if Joe wants to go then let him.....especially if we get £25m+ for him.

Really hope Casillas wouldn't be used as part of the deal.....if he's not good enough for Madrids squad, then why would he be considered good enough for ours?

I'm sure we could get a top class replacement for around £10m, that'd be clear profit of around £15m.

Well, it IS in the Star, but let's give it some credibility for a moment. It wouldn't surprise me that Real are after another keeper, seeing as Casillas is now somehow not good enough. I mean, this guy was only on the World Cup winning Spain side, for god's sake. I think, if we did sell Joe, we should ask for at least £25m AND Casillas. At the very least, we'd have a decent keeper for free and enough dosh to go out and buy a CB and LB. I don't think Casillas is past it and I'm not entirely sure why Madrid decided to drop him.

But on the flip side, Joe does use one of the homegrown places, he's a decent keeper who's only going to get better and, frankly, do we really need the money that badly? There are far, far worse players on the books we can get shot of before we even need to consider looking at Joe.

I think Joe Hart is considered one of the top 5 keepers in world football...and these keepers tend to win you 10-15 points per season.

He will only get better, he's got another 10 years+ at the top...I think it would be foolish to even think about getting rid of him.

I definitely think this is one for the garbage bin. However if, and it is a big if, Joe decides to leave I would be inclined to try & land courtois the atletico keeper on loan from Chelsea, young & a very good keeper indeed.

Can't be that good if he's not replaced an ageing Cech  Razz .

Will Joe Hart go to Madrid to be no2??? get real (forgive the pun).

More like a pile of stinky poo rubbish story to get into his head on the day of the derby.

Shaken that is down to the manager & his favourites I think. We should know that scenario only 2 well. Cech is still a good keeper & this season does warrant his place but courtois has youth and ability on his side. I know what keeper I would choose long term.

Completely agree if MP was looking at a long term replacement oz, but the talk is of maybe Casillas coming as part exchange, so that doesn't fit.....imo, we might aswell stick with Joe.
