How rubbish is this Spain side?

All that possession, all those world class players and three back to back tournament titles, yet they're on the brink of being first onto the plane... How?
For me, Cassilas shouldn't even be on the pitch, he was at fault for the second. But almost to a man, the Spanish have been awful.

They have been abysmal. They haven't got the energy to cope with the pressure put on them. They've resorted to lumping balls up the pitch. Just shows you what 3 or 4 players chasing around up front can do.

Well, they've been given another six minutes to sort it, but I can't see them scoring once, never mind twice.

They've been poor but a couple of chances could have seen them level early in the 2nd half. They deserve to go out.

Let's hope Silva sits out the last game and is fresh for the start of the season. I can't believe Costa and Torres were picked in front of Negredo.

No, me neither. But then again, I can't believe how crap most of the squad were. Definitely no glory there. On the plus side, Silva isn't going to be knackered before the pre-season and nobody is going to be looking to buy any Spanish players.
