Hope this is true. It makes sense.
Rodwell - £10.5m
Richards - £10m
Nasty - £15m
That means Mangala, Willy and Fernando are pretty much paid for (£12m to find)...clearing the way to use the cash left under FFP to make a big bid for Barkley.

Re: Mangala at City
We could still go for Benatia and have Kompany, Benatia, Mangala with Dimi and Rekik as backup.

Agree TMG! Better ways to spend the money, especially when he looks a mercenary

Re: Mangala at City
They're all bloody mercenaries to a certain extent these days.
I'm guessing the paper talk was by his agent to get the best price for him.
Interestingly, Benatia is now Real Madrid's radar...and would have cost less than Mangala, however, Mangala is much younger.
Though on last night's showing, Hummels looked excellent...but can't see him leaving now.

Re: Mangala at City
DeM and Zabba were excellent I thought apart
From the goal
30 mill is an awful lot for an untried at PL
level player and from wot I've seen doesn't look great

Re: Mangala at City
£30M is too much. For that you can get a seasoned CL pro with a WC winners medal.
