Re: Mangala - signs?
It seems this video was shot 12 days ago and was sat on the server waiting for the deal to be finalised. Apparently someone's hacked in and posted it. It wasn't up for long, it seems, as it's not there now.

Someone's managed to grab it and post it on Youtube, though. And here it is:

Re: Mangala - signs?
Why does all this go nowhere to reassure me this guy is nothing more than a C0CK and he is going to be far more trouble than he is worth.
It all screams, OK as a last resort I will sign for you, but I'm really holding out for a "better" offer.

We knew he'd been in Manchester for the medical and he was away on holiday whilst the deal was being finalised so, for me, nothing new there.

It's all a bit like that with most of these guys now. Gems like David Silva and Zabba are few and far between unfortunately, consummate professionals, extremely talented and yet no 'Billy big time' attitude! Respect!

Re: Mangala - signs?
OK.....this may mean absolutely nothing.....but as you know, I'm over in CV.
I've just finished the course i was delivering and the pilots have taken me out for beers and dinner. Whilst there, their Chief Pilot asked what I thought about Mangala and Fernando. I pretty much said "no idea", never really seen them play.
His words were "both will be absolutely brilliant for City"...
Now, I'm not going to take everything I hear as gospel...but these guys are passionate and knowledgeable about football...they knew as much as me about the PL.
So, maybe, they may turn out to be decent!

Re: Mangala - signs?
I said about a month ago I watched a re run of both games against porto in the Europa league only this time to watch out for Fernando & mangala instead of watching it for City. Fernando I must admit looked very useful full of running & good in the tackle. I actually thought a more mobile Gareth Barry. Mangala came on as a sub in the 1st 20 mins of the 1st leg & to be honest was as prominent as the invisible man.Allthough given the benefit of the doubt he would have been only 20 at the time. He did not feature in the second leg.

Re: Mangala - signs?
I am concerned by his price tag and his lack of nailing down the international spot, but we must have had this guy checked out for at least 18 months and we must have a dossier bigger and more plausible than the WMD dossier so I've got to believe that this guy can be the real deal.
