Garcia to Zenit?

Report in France that Garcia is going to sign for Zenit. He's got so little chance to play for City especially since we have too many non HG so it would be good for everyone concerned if he moved on. It does mean that we are building a small transfer fund if someone fantastic becomes available.

But if we buy Reus, won't he also be non-HG and therefore ineligible? Seems like a pointless transfer to me.

I think, more likely, we'll use Garcia's money to offset the purchases we've made and then use the gap in his wage to stabilise the CL wage bill a bit. Either that or go in for Barkley.

Reports in Russia that Zenit have offered €15M and City want €18M. €15M is about £11.5M which is pretty good money for Garcia. Add that to Rodwell's money and we have about £21M to spend if we want to. If Richards and Sinclair go as well, we've got the best part of £30M available. If Nasty goes as well, then we are up to about £45M and maybe one space in the squad for a non HG. We've got enough money for Humels if he is available and spare dosh to boot.

Sinclair may get a chance as a HG, he's been trying hard pre-season
