Yeah, read that this morning. Some incredible stats.
Just goes to show how lucky we are to have somebody who most are now finally saying, is amongst the likes of Messi and Ronaldo.
If Suarez went for £70m....Sergio must be in the £100m bracket, not that we could replace him.
Probably the best natural striker in the world.

Good to read that he didn't want to leave until we'd atleast won the CL.....got a feeling he might be here for the rest of his career then

I guess with his close friendship with Messi, Barca will always be linked with a potential move for him.....vice, versa. I can't see him ever going to Real though.
All that said and as painful as it is to say, if anyone offers £100m+ then imo we should let him go....we could get atleast 4 top notch players in, with 2 of those being strikers.

Top notch players are going for north of £50M these days Den. Shitty defenders, masquerading as top quality defenders cost £32M.

You have to unearth a gem for that sort of money Den. Di Maria was £60M. James was at least £60M. Suarez was £75M. Bale was £85M and Neymar was £80M.
