Arghhh....women

Ffs, the Mrs told me last night (when i got in from the footy) that we're going out for a meal on Satdi night at 6 with the rest of her family. I told her i can't as Chelsea v City was on the telly....the look that followed from her made me realize i didn't have much of a choice in the matter and i'd better not mention the game again .

I reckon i'm just gonna have to Sky+ it and hopefully not hear the result.

Bit naffed isn't the word though .

Yeah, if we play shit and get stuffed, you don't have to watch it. If we draw or win, you may enjoy the match more. Win win and she should owe you bigtime for suffering the in-laws!

It really wasn't meant as a jibe at Women in general Wensdi.....just towards my wife and her lack of understanding at the importance of football and it's fixtures.

My missus wants me to miss the Barca match even though I've told her several times that I'm going.

I didn't know you were taking Barcelona to the game this weekend?  Could you ask them if they can go easy in both legs of their CL game with us?  I'm hoping to get to the Nou Camp (assuming I can get a ticket) and I'd rather we didn't lose!

Incidentally, does anyone know how many tickets we got last season and how far down the points tree they got before selling out?

Barca away 3800 tickets I think
Sold out at 3000 points but it's really easy to get tickets in barcelona

It was 4600 for Barca away and they were £77 each

For me it's all fallen nicely. I'm 50 on Saturday, got a hall booked with mates DJ'ing (and absolutely NO Grease megamix, Dancing Queen or Nolans), family and friends coming from the four corners AND a huge screen in the hall to start the evening watching the match.
Sometimes life can be wonderful.

Thanks Wensdi and Oz. I'm feeling positive about the game, I know they won't let me down!!! But if they do (which they WON'T) I will be in a drunken haze very shortly afterwards anyway.
