Re: Are England going to win again?
And how did our illustrious Capt do again?
Pakistan are shit Dawg and my local team would probably beat them.
Amazing how after the last win against the Windies there were so many pundits and players saying we can "spring a surprise in the WC" and "we have the players to win the WC"........utter utter bollocks, this team will do sweet FA when it comes to the nitty gritty.

Fuckin useless this lot......and this game proves it.
78-4 chasing 250....and we still can't bowl a pub team out to win.

A pub team is a bit harsh. Pakistan have a couple of good batsmen and a few hit and miss guys and some dross.

Sorry, Maqsood. Easy mistake to make. They all look the same.

Re: Are England going to win again?
What then would your team be for the 1st WC game?
This would be mine, but it won't happen as Morgan's skipper.
Bell
Hales
Root
Taylor
Ballance
Buttler
Woakes
Broad
Tredwell
Anderson
Finn (Best of a bad bunch)

I'd keep Moeen as he plays quick enough and will normally get you a decent 20 or 30. I'd want to hit teams hard to be able to coast in the middle overs. Bell can be a bit slow, so I'd want quicker players around him. I'd use Moeen and Root to make up the 5th bowler.
