Burnley vs City - Live Thread
OK...so another big game where 3 points are vital. No slip ups today, no excuses after 10 days rest.
Be interesting to see who he plays today - Kompany and Fernandinho back? Bony to start? 4-4-2??????
For me, forget Barca....we need a good result and strong team out today. If Vinny's back, I can see him keeping DeM as he probably knows Vinny better.
For me, away from home, I'd go for this....but MP won't.

Jimmy not even on the bench? Is he up to 10 yellows yet for a ban or is this the writing on the wall following on from Pelligrini saying they have done all they can to get him to sign.
Not happy about 4-4-2 but we need a big performance today before the trip to Spain. High Tempo from the start, blow them away like the good old days.

Guess it's MP and the boards way of saying "thanks for your services, but you'll hardly play unless we need you"....damn shame if they've not done everything to keep him.

Wow that was exciting. Glad you've tried something new MP, it really shows we've been working hard in training.
Got 0-0 or a horrible Stoke type break away all over this game. I'm not exactly brimming with confidence.

Missing nothing mate...absolutely shite once again.
The Manager is even a stubborn fucker, or just plain wank.
Dzeko....once again, useless.
Get Dzeko off, get Nasri or Lampard on.
Oh, and while you're at MP, take that other lazy twat off - TLMLF....
Woeful display......but once again, shit formation, shit selection from the Chilean!

Seasons done, don't know why I'm still getting upset. Wednesday will just put the nail in the coffin, lets hope we can limp over the line still in the top 4. Then this joker should be gone and we start it all over again in the summer. We must be the easiest team to play against in the prem because every team has got our number.

Re: Burnley vs City - Live Thread
what as happened to city??? they look like rabbits in headlights, no fight, can't pass, slow & lethargic even when urgency is called for, I don't remember 1 second ball we won, why can,t the players see a situation & act upon it? When Kompany headed clear the free kick not one player followed the ball we had 4 stood on the left of the goalmouth marking 3 players who were not in the game? when going forward the distance between the front players & midfield is ridiculous we trying to find 1 or 2 players when they had 8 behind the ball & the other 2 were closing down our players carrying the ball out. well that's it for me as much as I have always said wait till the end of the season I am now definitely in the pel out camp, This is not a knee jerk reaction but after watching us go down hill at a rate of knots since xmas is a throw back to the bad old days of the 80's & late 90,s. How can a club with so much going for it cock it up as many times as we do???????

Re: Burnley vs City - Live Thread
He's a twat. It's that simple.
TLMLF....what the fuck is he all about?
Time for a massive clear out. Start with the Manager NOW and in the summer get rid of 6/7 shite players.
The board need to take responsibility for this as well. The signings for 2 years have been fucking woeful!
Time to ditch the dross and get world class players in mixed with youth and get a manager who knows what the fuck he's doing!!

Re: Burnley vs City - Live Thread
the wife was bathing the kids, came down said Oh Dear... lol
I summed it up and said we was shiiite and Burnley scored a corker..
manager put Aguero into number 10 role after he took off Silva (2nd best number 10 in the world maybe)
finally took Toure off, so we stopped passing back 10 yards fromi every fecking pass to midfield.
When penalty was declined at the end (I think was a pen, tad soft, but a pen) I said we would have got a paint..
in fairness I think Burnley deserved the 3 points more than we deserved 1...

Although it's an absolute disgrace I'm actually quite happy now because that surely has to be the end of Pellegrini. Obviously we will have to suffer one more humiliation on Wednesday but then it should be the end. Things have not been right for many months now and we've gone from Champions to a joke team
The players just dont wanna play for him anymore

Don't know if you could see on the TV but he was sat motionless in the dugout while Dyche is on the touch line kicking every ball, fucking sickened me

Re: Burnley vs City - Live Thread
When will the fans voice their opinions at a home match?
It was difficult to justify paying for a seasoncard for my son and myself this year, knowing that I'd probably struggle to get to more than 5-6 games (not around at Xmas or Easter).
If this clueless fool is still around next year, there won't be any difficulty in declining the offer to renew.

I would like MP and the guy that's buying the players gone. he might as well take his mate with him even though he's seemingly done a reasonable job on the income side of things.

"So, if you can't beat Burnley, how do you beat Barcelona?"
Simple, we'll probably beat them 4-2, get to the QF and keep this complete COCK of a manager in place!!
The Manager and the Barca cock-twins can fuck right off. Nothing but a complete embarrassment!

Disgraceful result this, one which our top brass need to seriously take note off. And there was me feeling pissed off last night having to troll round the Trafford Center shopping with the girls, inturn missing the game....seems like I made the right choice in the end.

I was out catching up with some old work colleagues whilst the match was on, so I missed it completely. My lad went to the game, he said it was the worst performance he'd ever seen, and that included those before Frank Sinatra.
I'm now thinking this hideously expensive away trip to Barca is going to be an embarrassing thrashing. If I see a shocking display, I will not be happy.

iwas nodding off and was going to bed 01.30am here then I thought i'll watch first half then go to bed it was so bad i stayed up thinking they must get better 2nd half 04.00am went to bed well pissed off. Totally stuffed up my Sunday.
I do not for 1 minute think we will get anything from Barcelona, but a typical city result would be a 1-0 away win, going out on away goals.

Oh, and Chelsea only managed a draw. We could've gained two points there if we'd gone there and attacked them instead of playing like puddings.
MP is killing us with this current style of play.
