Cheers Dawg, it's getting pretty close up there now....especially if we can win this game in hand.
It's games like this (against our close rivals) that the extra support could really help, whether anyone takes up the offer is another thing though....fingers crossed we have a few new faces in the ground.

Burtons (who are top) next 3 games are all against top 8 sides...with 2 being away, their home game's against 2nd placed Wycombe too...so it may not all be cut and dry just yet.

7 points isn't too big a gap especially with that game in hand. I reckon if you win 7 out of those 10, you'll go up automatically.

At least you should be guaranteed the play offs which wouldn't be a bad season.

I think we're already in the play-offs mate, but agree 7pts off top and 4pts off 2nd isn't that big of a gap to close.....here's hoping anyway.

Just watched 3 of your players on Soccer AM doing a corner challenge left and right footed.

Bollocks, I've just been on the website watching them record it at Carrington......and I've been watching Soccer AM on and off, I've obviously missed them.

The left footer Hussey takes corners for us, so I'd expect him to do ok but not so Soares and Riley .....we're they any good?

Soars won it. It took him 14 attempts to hit corners left footed and right footed into the net without bouncing.

Hussey I think was 2nd and got his first one left footed straight in...but took about 17 attempts with his right. Riley ended up on 24 attempts.

Husseys right foot is obvious just to stand on, great left peg though .......Soares is our Milner, Mr Versatile and well liked.

Cracking weekend down in Portsmouth (tired this morn)...and the results made it all the better. Nervous already for tomorrow, but can't wait.

Yep, big time Tony. Shame really, as we had a decent crowd in...more than i thought anyway.

As the saying goes "if you don't hit the target, you don't score". We absolutely battered them in the 1st half and had 10 shots to their 1.....but NONE on target. And as against Morecambe at home a few weeks back, paid the price. Pretty even 2nd half, as we seem to run out of ideas....but overall, we didn't deserve to lose. Tough to take that.
