Vincent Kompany should listen to Emlyn Hughes

If I remember correctly, Emlyn Hughes once said about Bryan Robson that he got himself injured by diving into tackles. I think Hughes hardly missed a game for Liverpool through injury because he used to stand up.

Kompany dives in, gets injured by doing so or gives stupid free kicks away, gets himself booked, puts pressure on players around him by being out of position (sprawling on the floor isn't a great position to be in as a defender). If he just stood up and jockeyed a bit more rather than trying to be a hard man gung ho hero, maybe he'd get some form back.
