Our Bored Owners?
With the announcement today that we have secured a 10 year partnership deal with Etihad, which will encompass the renaming of the stadium to the Etihad Stadium, keeping them as a shirt sponsor and sponsoring the proposed redelvelopemnts at the Sportcity site, it seems that our owners haven't yet become bored and seeing as they are clueless on the business side of things, i am really worried for our future.
Fucking brilliant news. We have the best owners in the world. This must be sickening for supporters of other clubs, after them banging on about our owners becoming bored and dropping us like a stone. Get used to success my fellow blues, for the future is ours, the future is blue. CTID.

That £120M loss last year will soon be sorted out.
This deal has to be worth at least £25M-£30M per year. Once we get rid of the deadwood players (and their astronomical wages), that'll be another £50M-£60M wiped off. Add the revenues from the chumps league and we are already talking about over £100M.
Financial fair play rules - fuck off Mr Platini

It's all coming together very nicely, this. We always suspected there'd be something on the horizon which would assist us in overcoming the FFP rules once we'd got qualification for the CL - and here it all is!
Maybe now the drooling masses will move on to something else and leave us to push forwards towards world domination.
Oh, and have you seen the plane? Sweet! I've not been so interested in the prospect of being on a plane since Concorde was decommissioned.
