Re: Interesting figures about agents/owning rights for City's transfers
I think Marwood had the right idea. A core of decent English players (Hart, Richards, Lescott, Milner, Barry, Johnson) with some excellent foreign stars (Aguero, Toure, Silva, Nasri, Kompany, NDJ, Tevez) and one arsehole (Mario).
That, for me, is the way to go. We've got to have at least 3 or 4 English (or at least home nation) players sprinkled with pinches of stardust.

It's a complete joke though all this 3rd party ownership. Allowed everywhere else other than the premier league?
So any other team in Europe who doesn't have the money to sign a player they get other 3rd parties to stump up? How is that fair, and what is the effect on FFP?
It all simply stinks and is rotten to the core.

If the PL allowed it, we could buy Messi for £300M and he could be owned by Sheikh Mansour. We'd just have to pay his £50M a year wages.

Maybe that's the route we should go down then! Add to that all the other targets.

The problem is that the PL has outlawed 3rd party ownership. UEFA/FIFA need to do the same to get us on an even playing field.
