New signing Ruben Sobrino has signed for Girona on a season-long loan along with Florian Lejeune from Girona our new City feeder club.
The 24 year old Frenchman will immediately return to Girona on loan for the rest of the season.
For those of you wondering why we are signing players from Spain then loaning them to Girona, it's because City have just signed an agreement with Girona to become a 'sister' club within UEFA, rules state that two clubs can be owned by the same owner so to get around these rules City have added Girona to the City Football Group by this arrangement, similar to the one Chelsea have with Vittese Arnham.
Expect many young south americans and africans bought by the club and send to spain.
