Jimmy Greaves Appeal
This makes my blood boil. I've just commented on FB and Twitter to Neil Ashton about this.
You have a Spurs and England legend needing financial help - £30k!!
This is a PUBLIC appeal!!!
You have professional footballers like Adebayor, sat on his arse at Spurs, refusing to move unless somebody pays his £100k pw wages, we have the Chairman of the PFA on a £3.5m salary...and the only way to raise the money is via a fucking public appeal?
Disgusting.

Re: Jimmy Greaves Appeal
It says the Spuds have paid all JGs medical bills through their Tribute Trust for former players....is that a seperate issue that the physiotherapy?
If it is, then i totally agree that it's disgusting that no-one within the FL/PL/FA/ex and current players have stepped in to help.....30k is peanuts within football nowadays.

I guess it is Den. You'd have thought Spurs could extend it to another £30k though - they've saved £25m on buying Berahino.
But still, it just goes to show doesn't it. Footballers at Spurs could put in £1k each and he'd have his on-going treatment secured.
It really does annoy me though that fans again, seem to be the only ones who care.

Re: Jimmy Greaves Appeal
Makes me sick too
My father had a stroke a few years ago and was paralysed down one side, couldnt speak properly & was in a wheelchair for the rest of his life
Completely destroyed his life and my mums
My mum spent a fortune on his care before he died last year
We got very little help from anywhere and now some footballer who lets face it shouldn't be skint after a long successful football career playing and presenting is asking for money. Kiss my black ass !
