Palace vs City - Live Thread
I'll post the live stream links nearer the time, but for now, this is what's on offer:
http://cricfree.sx/
http://footballstreaming.info/streams/todays-links/index.html
Team-wise, get your predictions in. For me, nothing changes other than KDB in for Silva.
..............................Hart...............................
Sagna.............Vinny...........Manga...........Kolorov
Navas...............TLMLF......Fernandinho.........Sterling
.............................KDB......................................
.............................Aguero...................................
However, will MP be sentimental and not want to piss off Nasri and play him in Silva's role?
I don't think he should be sentimental. KDB cost us a fortune, let's throw him in at the deep end and see how he does.

2-0 Everton! Another Naismith strike from 25 yrds.
Begovic has kept it to 2, could have been 4 but for him.

What is the point of spending so much money on KDB??
Nasri isn't a natural number 10 ffs!

Re: Palace vs City - Live Thread
I really hope Silva and Sterling haven't been kept back for the CL game on Tuesday. If so, we could quite easily go into that game with a loss today.
Time for Bony and Nasri to stake a claim for a starting place.
Guess that's why we have a squad like we do, but still, and always will be, THE PL is what counts.

Sterling not even on the bench. Not too worried you can bet nasri and Bony are up for it. KDB will get a run out.
Anyway come on the toffees,

Bluey, what do you mean by "bloody Nasri"? He made the difference against Watford.
Palace are a tough side, but if we're saying we're reliant on a new kid, we don't deserve to win. We've got enough class in that team to get the result we want.
Oh, and ha ha Maureen, at least we can beat Everton!

I'm glad Nasri is getting a start - we don't want him turning into an apathetic Dzeko. He was excellent against Watford as Leo said. Fair do's.

I have to say though, I'm a bit nervous about the 4-4-2 formation. I hope it works, but it didn't last season and we got done 2-1...

Re: Palace vs City - Live Thread
Sorry....don't mean to disrespect Nasri, I've always liked him, however, would liked to have seen a natural NO.10 in KDB play there, and see how he fills David's role.
Guess we'll see.

Re: Palace vs City - Live Thread
Really can't see us setting up with a 4-4-2.
Can see Bony playing up top and Aguero on the left.
4-4-2 could be suicidal away from home against a very good Palace team.

We should be on 4-5-1 now De Bruyne is on. But shame we had to lose Serge so soon

Bony if you are going to make it here at least put your boot through it. It will be a life on the bench if you don't. KDB a couple of smart passes already. Too slow for me, I think we are happy with 0-0 which is dangerous.

I don't think we're looking for a draw here, mate. But we are at sixes and sevens a bit, some slack passes going on. Nice cross-body pass from Dino to find Nasri in acres of space, though.
We've still got enough to win this, but we need to find something special and with all our special players out, I think we're going to struggle.

Think Palace have got City a bit rattled - and then losing Sergio. Hopefully Pellers will get it sorted at half time.

Bloody hell, that was a close one! Hats off to Palace and Pardew, they really made us work for that one. But well done to Kelechi for doing what all decent strikers should, getting in the six yard box to latch on to any loose ball.
I need a lie down after that...

Re: Palace vs City - Live Thread
3 points indeed.
Considering we had Sterling out, Aguero off after 20 mins, no Silva, our perennial fuckwit missing an open net, TLMLF in reminiscing form of last season.....well done KELECHI!! An example to Wilfried on what to do.
Tough, tough game, but without Sterling and Silva, our players resorted to 2014/15 mode.
3 points though at a ground and team many will lose points, a massive well done.

5 points clear at the top, 100% winning record, +11 goal difference, not conceded a single goal and 11 points clear of last year's champions.
I hope we can keep this up.

He wasn't that bad, Bluey. Plus he played for an hour on a yellow card and with Cabaye doing his level best to get him to react and be sent off.blueboy wrote:TLMLF in reminiscing form of last season.....
But I agree with the rest of it. Without our superstars it was never going to be a classic, but there were plenty of players there willing to pitch in and do what was needed - including Mango, who took a bullet for the team by hooking down Puncheon when he was looking like he was through. Sagna was immense again. Kolarov looked a bit lost with Nasri in front of him, but more settled when De Bruyne was moved over to the left. Vinny was massive again, too, and Dino played about the best I've ever seen him in a City shirt, mopping up everything in the middle. And Hart stayed awake for the odd occasion he was needed, thankfully!
We need to get shot of Navas, though. Didn't get past his man once, made zero useful crosses, fluffed every corner he took and on the one occasion he showed some skill and quality he fluffed it when it mattered most.

KDB created most chances on the pitch too. Tough place for debut but he was sound. Navas only weak link for me.

Re: Palace vs City - Live Thread
well that had my heart racing the person who should be fucked right off is mike Fucking Jones, What an awful performance from a supposed top premier league official. Thought Sagna was brilliant as stated & dino. Thought Bony worked tirelessly & did a great job against 2 centre backs who wanted to kick lumps out of anything in a light blue shirt. De Bruyne was tidy & how he sees the movement for some of those 1st time passes is incredible as he doesn't appear to take a look he just pings it. No wonder he was top of assists overall in Europe last season. Great result & lots of Man Love for Kelechi. You Beauty

Some good news Kun reckons his injury is not serious, from his twitter account:
"Thanks everyone for your concern. I got a hard hit and it prevented me from playing more. It doesn't seem to be a serious injury though"

Re: Palace vs City - Live Thread
This last game was a bit shit in the first half. You can tell it's one side with strikers from Burnley and Villa versus a side with no striker at all. Second half has livened up a bit, but we need the dippers to score here...

Because their toughest game has been Dippers at home (and the worse dippers side in 20 years at that) and they have still dropped 5 points
Anyway I like it, it lulls their deluded fans into thinking they are world beaters.
