Belle Vue Aces

Now i'm not really into Speedway, but last night saw the "Aces" take on the Poole Pirates in a 2-legged Grand Final. This was to be the last ever race at Kirkmanshulme Lane, before they move into their new home in Gorton.
Because of this i watched it, and wow was i impressed. Roared on by what looked to be a capacity crowd (i don't know what that is bytheway), the Aces clinched a 1st leg draw by staging a remarkable comeback. 13pts down after 6 races (there's 15) and 10 down with 3 to go, they won the last 3 races 5-1, 5-1 and 4-2 to draw 46-46.
It really was brilliant drama, so much so, i was screaming at the TV for them to get atleast a draw in that last race....another 5-1 win would have seen them take a 2pt advantage to Poole.

The 2nd leg is tomorrow night in Dorset, i for one will be glued to the box hoping this will be Belle Vues 1st ever Grand Final win. Go on you Aces!!!
