I Wonder What Can Be Done?

Just watched another programme about what can be done about mass shootings in Oregon this week).  Well I wonder.  How about gun control or better still get rid of them.  Seems simple to me - but its their constitutional right to bear arms don't you know.  So - continue with the senseless horrific shootings then - and let's not have any more radio and tv discussions about it.

Tough nut to crack that one.

The fact that this unbalanced young man had 13 weapons at both the school and his home surely shows how fucked up gun control is in America?

Until they ban guns, these things will continue to happen. Society as a whole is full of nut jobs, by allowing them "free access" to weapons is asking for trouble.

It's madness. One failed attempt at a shoe bomb and everyone has to remove their shoes, but you have all these shootings and woe betide anyone who suggests taking guns off people.

It's the NRA who runs the show.  It's the southern whites who want NO gun restrictions.  It's the same with healthcare - they have never seen how things work in other developed countries.

But he didn't deserve to be shot dead. Just imagine being stopped for driving through a red light or for speeding and ending up being shot dead.
